Yes, I got about 15, including for this one. Did you get one saying you have been tagged? Yes, I did.

This will be a great help to keep threads from being clogged I believe (I know that's rich coming from me). I'll explain in a new thread for people.

āI pass the test. I will diminish, and go into the West and remain Annastacia.ā

āWell, here at last, dear friends,ā said Swan, āon the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship in The Vault. Go in peace! I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.ā Then Annastacia kissed Swampirella, Helrunar, Weirdmonger, Lord Ripper, Middoth, dem bones and Shrink Proof, and all the rest of those marvellous people, and last and most of all Dr Strange, and went aboard; and the sails were drawn up, and the wind blew, and slowly the ship slipped away down the long grey ļ¬rth; and the light of the glass of the Vault that Annastacia bore glimmered and was lost. And the ship went out into the High Sea and passed on into the West...

Where can I find a map of Arkham that is close to the stories? I've found several, but they don't seem to agree. It's not helped by Batman seeming to have added Arkham to the comic universe he inhabits.

Hi Helene, Have you seen this sketch map that Lovecraft himself did of the town? lovecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Arkham?file=Map_of_Arkham.jpegThe entry of which is this a part seems to comprise an exhaustive review of what he actually said about the specifics of Arkham's topography; it references "Dreams in the Witch-House" as the tale that includes the greatest number of details. cheers, Helrunar

I am very rusty on Herbert George; I read a lot of him in my early teens, but not since (I hope to remedy this in the next few years). As I recall he wrote a prodigious number of short stories, none or few of them disappointing. Those that I can recall are one about a land of spiders, Empire of the Ants, The Country of the Blind, The Star, The Door in the Wall, and The Island of Dr Moreau (if you classify it as a very long story or a very short book). I think you could probably dive into any collection of his short stories* and find several that are rewarding
