Thanks, als. These are brilliant, cover a few gaps in our listing, too. Agree with Swampi re: Transplant. Not read Trance, but Mark Samuels reviews it here.
From the first, I set myself against "literature"; the story was the thing, and no amount of style could persuade me to select a story that lacked genuine, unadulterated horror. For those who wanted something high-brow there was plenty.
Miss Scarlet, I'm not sure exactly how many I got, I'll count them when I get back home. The guy I got them off said it was a full set of Hamlyn horrors, I think there might be one or two on the list that's on here that aren't included, but I was absolutely thrilled to get them. I already had about a third of them, so I kept all the best editions and passed the duplicates onto a friend of mine. I was really lucky to get them for the price I did!
I asked the chief predator where to find you and he said, "Our Mrs. Peel is in ladies' underwear." I rattled up the stairs three at a time.
Congratulations; there's nothing better than getting something you love at a great price! I never meant for you to actually count your books , just thought you could guesstimate. Don't take the trouble on my account, only if you're curious....I meant the new batch, not all of your books.
