If I had not got so involved with a number of writing projects which will take up much of my time over the next twelve months, we were thinking of looking into this as a project for Parallel Universe Publications after doing Craig Herbertson's The Heaven Maker. I look forward to getting a copy of Shadow Publishing's edition. I'm sure it will be great.

Shadow Publishing Newsletter ------------------------------------------------------------ November 2014 CREEPING CRAWLERSA NEW ANTHOLOGY EDITED BY ALLEN ASHLEY Shadow Publishing is proud to announce a major anthology of new stories - CREEPING CRAWLERS, edited by Allen Ashley to be published Autumn 2015. Allen says, "What is this lingering fear of insects, arachnids, arthropods, crustaceans and those that slither? Unchallenged, the locusts, the maggots, the worms, the flies, the aphids and the termites may consume and destroy all that we have and hold dear. In a subtler way, we think we are in control of the Earth but the insect class are the great survivors biding their time and, whilst they are playing the long game, perhaps they are also manipulating us for their own inscrutable purposes". SHADOW PUBLISHING NEWSLETTER: JANUARY 2015 CREEPING CRAWLERS, Edited by Allen AshleyShadow Publishing is proud to announce a major anthology of new stories, Creeping Crawlers, edited by Allen Ashley to be published Autumn 2015. Allen says, "What is this lingering fear of insects, arachnids, arthropods, crustaceans and those that slither? Is it a hangover from the survival battles in the savannah or does it go deeper and further back than that in our evolutionary heritage? We are seeking submissions for the anthology commencing 1st March 2015. For more information and writer's guidelines, email: david.sutton986 ATbtinternet.com (replace the AT with @ ). WORSE THINGS THAN SPIDERS & OTHER STORIESBy Samantha Lee. "Lee’s work is impeccable – some of her ghoulish tales are only a few pages long, but all are exquisitely told." (Matthew Johns, review BFS website). Samantha Lee can tell a great story, be it heart-rending horror or charming jokey fantasies, such as Take Five and Scoop. These will be a little light relief from the razor edged terrors in other stories such as The Island of the Seals and Nobody Thinks He’s A Bad Guy. She has a way of depicting torture and cruelty, often with a sharp eye on the humanitarian issues. These are dark stories indeed, told with just the right dollop of horror to thoroughly unnerve the reader. And if you want ghosts and mythical beings, there’s Cat’s Cradle and Over My Dead Body, each of them unnerving in their own way. Read our interview with Samanthaat the Shadow Publishing Blog Plus we have a special offer. Order a copy of this collection using PayPal and receive a copy of the Richard Davis collection The Female of the Species & Other Terror Tales, plus other titles at a discounted rate. Go to the website for more information and ordering. Samantha Lee collection special offer: HORROR ON THE HIGH SEAS: CLASSIC WEIRD SEA TALES Selected by David A. Sutton. Cover artwork by Jim Pitts The oceans have long been places of danger, mystery and horror. From ancient times there has been the terror that a trip might lead to edge of the world and the nameless place beyond its edge. There have been the strange lights of St. Elmo’s Fire. The sunken cities of Atlantis and Lyonesse. The Sargasso sea entrapping ships. The Bermuda Triangle. And within the ocean’s depths sea creatures both real and unreal. The great white whale in Moby Dick and the giant octopus in Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. The oceans beckon us... and repel us. And storytellers have used the sea as a basis for ghost and horror stories down the centuries. In this anthology there are stories about phantom ships and their phantom sailors, weird encounters with spirits, a vengeful sea sprite, and even an amusing yarn about a sea serpent. So, readers, take a passage with us to the weird realms of the benighted oceans! Includes fiction by William Hope Hodgson, W. W. Jacobs, Warren Armstrong and others. Available in paperback and Kindle editions. Check the website for more information. Horror on the High Seas information and ordering:
