Happy New Year to you and yours, Johnny! Wishing you health and happiness.
I thought UK Vault denizens might be interested to hear of your forthcoming appearance at the Crediton Library in Crediton, Devon:
We will be hosting Johnny Mains in Crediton Library on Friday 19th January as part of The Folklore Library and Archive Warm Winter programme of events. Johnny will be discussing archives, tracking down lost stories, publishing anthologies with British Library Publishing, genre anthologies and much more. All of our Warm Winter events are completely free. Please share with your friends and let us know if you would like to come.
The event starts at 7 p.m.
cheers, Hel.

I only posted it as your images don't show up on my PC, however I just looked on my phone and they show up there. That's interesting. Your Burns Night one doesn't show up on my PC either.
Edited to say this is an Internet provider problem. Imgur images are being blocked on the one I'm currently using. It's a known problem.

How cool! Here in the Boston area, Burns Night seems to have become something that people have events around. I think that's recent, but it might have happened way back who-knows-when--we have quite a few Scots emigrant families here, though the Irish are much better known amongst Old Bostonian residents.
For Auld Lang Syne,
Hel

Decades ago there used to be at least one active Burns Club near me in Troy, New York. There's still a Robert Burns Statue in Albany, New York's Washington Park, 1888. I trust there will be some blood in the red ink used for the cover, so that it's not false advertising? How did you source that?

Please, always publicise events like the one in Crediton. You can never tell how close the lurkers of The Vault may be!
