Picked up this one for the nasty cover and because it was from a golden year for NEL, 1975. Very surprised that the author is actually THE Charlie Chester, music hall comedian turned TV and radio star. Besides NEL publishing his autobiography and a novel about the theatre, he also came up with at least three adult thrillers. Symphony and Psychopath, and two Bannerman novels.     |
