Malay Horror is the one with the Penanggalan, isn't it? The denouement is outrageous even by Quinn standards. Our late friend Michel Parry revived Incense and Abominations for his 3rd Mayflower Book of Black Magic, and the much anthologised incest shocker, The Jest of Warburg Tantavul, in early (first?) psychic detective anthology, The Supernatural Solution. Recognise several others by title but can remember nothing about them, not even if I read them, whereas the 'twenties stuff has mostly stayed with me.

Wiki says: the American anthology streaming television series Creepshow features a penanggalan in the season three episode "Drug Traffic". I was wondering how they did it. www.imdb.com/title/tt15358452/

And you are right about the end. I never read this before, and this is as outrageous as not believable.
