This is the second collection of Ramsey Campbell's stories, published recently bei PS Publishing. Again a fine hardcover, this volume contains works from 1998 to 2016. Like in vol. 1 there is no information of the origin of the stories. Which (again) is a shame. A casual glance at the bibliography reveal a lot of original anthologies which have come and gone.
But this a technical critique. For a reader with no access to those "newer" anthologies - which a lot are out of print -, this is a good opportunity to sample Mr Campbell's newer stories and novelette's. Cover and interior illustrations are by Glenn Chadbourne. This time all is in b/w and are more successful. But this is a matter of taste, I hasten to add.
Together these two hefty tomes are a must have, if you like the work of this author, who now has been publishing his fiction for more than 60 years.
