Got my heart operation on Wednesday - so it'll either be good news or bad news. If it's bad, I'm glad Halloweird will be my last book, and a posthumous release so close to my death! Woohoo! If I am around, there will be much more to come! Jx
The best of luck with your operation tomorrow.

Well, despite the best efforts of the doctors, I am now back home . Was a complicated operation, took almost 7 hours when it should have taken 3. Chest feels like I've been kicked by a horse. Thanks for all your kind thoughts. Bed rest for the next week and hopefully watch a few films inbetween the oramproph.

Sounds dreadful, but I'm pleased to hear you came through okay, even though you feel the worse for wear! Take your bed rest seriously and I hope you're back to fighting strength again soon.

Take care and a long enough rest.

A doctor writes.... A fixable complication. Hang in there.
