Go to reply or new thread. Click on BBCode down below. (It makes things easier imho, the difference to Preview is only seen by the different font). Go to the imagehost of your choice, Imgbb or Pixhost or whatever (you can do this without registering and making an account, but in that case you won't find the link ever again and have no control over it; some imagehosts create delete links you have to save, some don't ), upload your picture to host, choose BBCode (full view), copy that link and paste it into reply where you want it.
To use "Insert Image" is tricky in my experience. And needless.
On the BBCode page you will only see the link. Click on Preview and your pic should be seen. One advise: avoid those big pixel sizes like 2000 x 3000 pixels for uploading. It takes a lot of space and looks terrible. Personally I choose 36x x 600 which doesn' t fill your hard drive with needless MBs. But this is a personal preference, most of the other posters choose bigger ones. My scanner produces big jpgs so I have to edit them down. |

I use imgbb.com - (1) Go to imgbb.com (2) Click "Start Uploading". (3) Find the image file you want to upload on your computer and click "Open". (4) Click the green "Upload" button at bottom of screen (you might need to scroll down a bit to see it). (5) Choose "BBCode full linked" from the "Embed Codes" drop-down menu, then click "Copy" in the box below. (6) Just paste this code straight into your post as "plain text" - no need to use "Insert Image" icon. |

Use this code to change image size in your post from original. Change height and width to whatever is best suited to your aims.
