It doesn't end at the moment. George Perez, penciller and writer of books like The Avengers, Justice League of America, Crisis on Invinite Earths, The New Teen Titans or Wonder Woman died on May 6th because of pancreatic cancer. He was 67. He became famous for drawing group books, the more characters the better. His work was always insanely detailed and beautiful. The next issue of New Teen Titans was a thing to look for if you were into American superhero comics in the mid 80s, and Perez was always on top of his game. I even bought Crisis on Invinite Earths. I had zero interest in the complicated (and often silly) DC mythology, but the 12 issues were drawn by Perez, so of course I bought it.

RIP George Perez.

I read many issues he drew for The Avengers and New Teen Titans.
