Friday the 13th: Scott Philips - Church of the Divine Sociopath (Black Flame/BL Publishing, 2005, 403 pages) Black Flame was a part of British Games Workshop publishing and did quite a few novelizations of genre franchises like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Final Destination. Also they did a few novels based on 2000 AD, a couple Judge Dredd, Nikolai Dante, Rogue Trooper and others. Except for the 2000 AD books which are again avaiable as Ebooks they are long out of print and fetch high prices. Some of the 2000 AD books were not bad, considering that the majority was not written by the usual comics series writer. In any case they were nicely packaged with new art for the covers. Black Flame didn't last long, from 2003 to 2008. Scott Philips just wrote another novel, at least as far as genre or the name is concerned.
