Frankie Goes to Hollywood now. The Power of Love. Sounds nice, but lyrics are stupid.

Poor version of the song Hallelujah on now. The Jeff Buckley version (from his 1994 album Grace) has never been bettered.

I'm sure we can do better than that Top of the Pops. Suggest your seasonal songs here.

I know that at Christmas your thoughts turn to mistletoe, so here is a cheerful Christmas tale! How poignant; thank you!
Here's a list of where this supposedly happened; I believe Bramshill House is cited most often. And according to Peter Underwood, this is the chest where the mistletoe bride met her end.

I think I may have posted this before a few years back, but here it is again anyway.

Yes, merry Christmas Ghostlies! I did manage to set up a VPN and watch The Mezzotint on BBC iPlayer. Rory Kinnear was brilliant as always, though the awful revelation of Gawdy's skull at the end didn't quite work.

Hope you and family have a good one, wherever you spend it.

Rory Kinnear was brilliant as always, though the awful revelation of Gawdy's skull at the end didn't quite work. The sets were fab, Kinnear was great and if it had finished 20 seconds earlier it would've been great. Revealing the ghost's face/skull at the end defused it at the crucial moment.

Christmas on the beach again, James? Hope you and family have a good one, wherever you spend it. An afternoon thunder storm cooled things down a bit, but it was a bit sticky.
