The oven explodes whenever she attempts to bake a cheese pie. UNCANNY!!! There's something so terribly British about all this, at least to me. Of course I'm just a Yank so what do I know. cheers, Hel This made me think that we could do a thread on ghost stories that could only be a product of the country it originated in. For example a ghost like this: I'm sure Swampirella will know lots of stories. It doesn't just have to be supposedly real stories, of Richard Felix standard, it can be fiction or even film, as some Japanese horror films show. Edited to say my picture doesn't show up, so it must be a ghost. I will try again.

Even though I put up a French onion seller I suppose he could really be Belgium too. Like Poirot, some often confuse the two countries.

On the subject of ghosts peculiar to their own country, I feel the ones in this volume could only be found there.
