I've been here before, years back.
A bit has changed for me...
When my job in IT went tits up in Edinburgh in 2007 I was just starting to make some money writing. I took the plunge, sold up house, moved to Newfoundland and tried writing full time.
Haven't starved either me or my wife, mainly due to doing pretty well out of the ebook boom with various different publishers
So still writing, mainly pulpy stuff these days. I've got a 'Sweary scottish squaddies versus big beasties' series on the go at Severed Press ( and also in German at Luzifer Verlag) that's keeping us in beer and pizza.

Welcome back! I loved this suite of 3 Carnacki tales by you a friend gave me for Xmas some years back. The third one ended with the redoubtable Carnacki meeting a lady psychic investigator. The possibilities of further adventures seemed potent.
