Random question: I seem to recall a recent discussion of a horror story with an Irish-sounding title, full of hyphens and the letters S, L, and N. I've been trying to search for it, but I can't find it. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

I decided to have a little search for your story; no luck but I found this series of 3 horror novels set in Ireland, which might be interesting.

Could it have been The Sheelagh-na-gig by Mary Ann Allen?

That's where I read the story as well.

Ripper, remind me where I can read "The Sheela-na-gig"? I suppose I should just use the search engine, but if you remember, perhaps you could let me know. Edit: I just scrolled more and saw it was in one of the Valentine anthologies.
I have a map I got when I was travelling in Eire in 2011 which shows the location of every attested Sheela in the country. But I think more have been discovered since it was printed. She's so fierce and raw--love Her energy.
