Hi Folks I see a number of threads on the various books edited/compiled by Christine Bernard. But nothing on the lady herself. Do we know anything about her pre-Fontana (and, indeed post-Fontana) activities, literary or otherwise. The link below is pretty much all I have unearthed following an evening scouring the internet. bearalley.blogspot.com/2006/10/christine-bernard.htmlThanks Ian

If you google "Christine Ruth Bernard" (with the quotation marks) you'll find a short biographical entry for her in "Science Fiction & Fantasy Literature Vol.2" from 1979.
Her father (given there as "Anthony Bernard, a composer and conductor") seems to have been quite famous, and has his own wikipedia entry.

Great news! I was just consulting your Pan Scribbles a few minutes ago as I was about to start re-reading my Pan collection. Thanks for your previous & future hard work on them both.
