Hansen Curse Anna Witts

I Have finished reading Hansen curse by Anna Witts, she is a new author i think as i have not really seen her works before. This horror book is so imaginative and a unique kind of horror in terms of the plot twists and characters.
Here is the description: Leah Hansen, a troubled 16 year old who lost her sister due to suicide 3 years ago is having a hard time coping with life. Her devout, religious parents decide to send her to Norway so she can live with her affluent grandparent's only for Leah to discover the dark secrets of her dad's side of the family. Death, blood wars, demons and a Curse.... A curse that effects every woman born under the Hansen family which results in a tragedy. Leah doesn't want to suffer the same fate her sister did, will she be able to break this generational curse?

Judging from the sample chapter, every second sentence has errors in grammer, punctation or a typo. To think that this kind of product has replaced the mass-market paperback is the real horror.

Damn, I checked punctation in a dictionary, but not this To my everlasting shame my contributions are riddled with wrong spellings, as I have discovered. I should check more often.

Don't sweat it Andy but Swampi's right. Yer Grammer is what's married to yer grandpa.

I enjoy horror with Scandinavian settings and themes, such as Trollhunter and The Ritual, so I would recommend that the author emphasize those aspects in future installments. Less Lilith, more Loki!

As Andy pointed out, professional copyediting would help the novel make a more positive impression. The blurb would also benefit from revisions.
