Ian Thorne - The Blob (Cresswood House, 1981) Novelisation of the 1958 Sci-horror masterpiece introducing Steve McQueen as misunderstood hot-rod racer, Steve Andrews who everyone except sweetheart Jane Martin dismisses as one of them nasty juvenile delinquents. The reality is Steve's a good kid at heart, as he gets to demonstrate when the town comes under attack from a voracious man-eating blob from outer space. Transcript attached.
