I really enjoyed that one. Thanks to Victoria Day and Chrissie for her fine illustration.

Day TwentyChrissie Demant First of a Yoofspoitation popcorn double feature. Some of you may have already encountered Goth Bint tucked away in shunned section at foot of the forum where no man should stray (and few do), but if this is to be the last calendar, it's only fitting that the ever-inspirational Fritz Maitland, "Britain's Monarch of Terror," is represented.

A tasty story, especially the ending! Chrissie's artwork matches it perfectly.
"the last calendar"? I can see why, though, it must be hard work to organize, on top of your usual Vault responsibilities and "real life".

Goth Bint was a right rave-up scream! Excellent art from Chrissie, too!
"Last calendar"? I know it's a trite sentiment but I'm recalling the words heard so long ago--"yesterday is a memory and tomorrow a dream... we have only today."
cheers,Steve

The masterful Mr Maitland triumphs again. It's 1979 once more and it makes me feel like a teenager all over again... sadly... but what more do you want? Blood, sex, humour, pop culture references galore and Martian Dance to top it all off. Splendid! 'last calendar' ?

What a fun story from Fritz. I really liked the description of Denise's home life and the club. Chrissie's illustration was so fitting. Thanks to both.

'last calendar' ? He obviously means to refer, somehow, to "last year's calendar." Anything else is unthinkable.

Day Twenty-oneChrissie Demant Part II of youth cult double bill, a fragment of a lost Skinhead novel by genre-hopping speed-pulpster Allen Cave (introduced by friend Drew Salzen, to whom many thanks!). Reads like it might be a self-contained episode in Stephen Jones's Zombie Apocalypse trilogy. Best experienced with a stiff glass of lovely Seagram's 100 Pipers.

Fun story, Goth Bint. I confess that I didn't get the ending, but more important, who is the elusive Mr.Maitland?
And my regards to Chrissie again. Wonderful work.

I'm not into zombies so this story wasn't for me, but thanks nonetheless. Chrissie's illustration certainly sums it up well!

Hahahaha Really appreciated this glimpse of what remains of Mr Cave's novel, so well done to Drew for unearthing it, and I raise a glass of Seagrams to both . Nicely illustrated by Chrissie as always.

Day Twenty-two: Facing The Scorn Of Tomorrow's Generation Chrissie Demant Vault's Very own Mr. Christmas strikes again! Yes it is Craig Herbertson with an atypically jolly seasonal reminder that we will every one of us be held to account should we not mend our ecological ways. If you want my honest, it is about time Craig had a second collection.
