Utter Newb here - I use to love the early Pan paper backs and nostalgia made me want to look up a story that stuck with me over the years. It featured a geezer recounting his visit to a sinister guest house. In the story the landlord is short and fat and the landlady is the opposite. They are a murderous pair and later chase the story teller with an axe. As proof his tale was true, he pulls out his bloody hand missing a few fingers. As a kid it felt all too vivid. Now its occurred to me Its something that would fit in the old school type of horror short-comic sequence - Oh yea Im an amateur artist. Speaking of which I expect there are a few short story writers here that might fancy seeing their story panelled as a comic - nothing long, I have done a few already. So please to meet you after midnight...
