Small pickings of late, but the Woden Seniors Club book sale is on this week, and a few things popped up - all books $2.50: I've 8 Valancourt Books books, all from this sale - this was the only one I could find this time, but it's a good one: Penguin Machen: This looked mildly interesting: Conan Doyle true crime, from Gaslight which did a lot of Doyle/Sherlock Holmes related stuff back in the 80s:

Did go back today and found another Valancourt book, the complete Blackwater series: This one for the Ruth Rendell intro: A Jack Adrian antho in this OUP series that I don't have: And a nice NEL cover:

The cover for that edition of Jizzle is, I think, one of the best ever for a Wyndham paperback. It can be had as a poster by buying a back copy of Science Fiction Monthly (they turn up on eBay). I've got it but have more pictures and posters than I have walls

Thanks! Can't wait to read it! Smith seems to have nearly vanished from the market; some novels I haven't seen offered online for years. And they're annoyingly expensive, too.

Thanks! Can't wait to read it! And they're annoyingly expensive, too. There are plenty of ebooks. Really? The Kraken lists 6 or 7. Of those only the Werewolf compilation presents some classic material. No Crabs, no old Sabbat, no Sucking Pit.

Was pleased to pick up this classic for $2 at the junk shop: Sometimes everything comes together. James Moffatt and the needless novelization of a forgotten movie. A pair made in heaven.
Never heard of it, but I am no fan of ape movies. I had to look it up and seems I have missed a treat. Robin Askwith starring with Valerie Leon and Linda Hayden as 'The Singing Nun'. How bad can this be?
James, if you ever stumble upon the novelization of Coffy written by Paul W. Fairman and published by Lancer Books, don't think, just buy it. One of those lost books which seem to have vanished.
