Nice finds again, James. I have the American edition of Flashing Swords #2 with the iconic Frazetta cover (The Deathdealer), but the Pennington is a class of its own. The content is also good, an early Moorcock (Elric), John Jakes (Brak), Andre Norton (Witch World) and the inevitably De Camp (Poseidonis).
Also I have the Lovecraft. The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. 5th printing. Bought it in the 70s. Never could get into his Dreamlands, though. They only became interesting with the Alan Moore interpretation.

6 AND THE SILENT SCREAM: Is that a very poor Richard Powers painting?

6 AND THE SILENT SCREAM: Is that a very poor Richard Powers painting? I've no idea. The back cover attributes 'design' to some chap named Sam Suliman. I can't see it in The Art of Richard Powers.

Got two Guy N. Smith books, Fiend and Bats Out of Hell, from some US sellers. A third, Crabs on the Rampage, should arrive soon from a UK seller.

I hope you enjoy them! Curious as to just how much you had to pay. Of course sometimes one does come across a bargain, one presumes from a small bookstore owner who just wants to move their stock along.
cheers, Hel.

They were (not including shipping):
Fiend - $37.08 Bats Out of Hell - 26.67 Crabs on the Rampage - $55.98 Killer Crabs (bought subsequently) - $67.92
I'm also currently eyeing a $43.26 copy of Cannibals.

His books tend to be very pricey whenever I check. I've never read one. But I've paid sums comparable to those for authors for whom I do have a great fondness.
Enjoy the books!
Hel.

Bah! Someone else beat me to the copy of Cannibals. Oh well. I got Maggots by Edward Jarvis and the novelization of It's Alive! by Richard Woodley.

Got the novelization of It Lives Again! by James Dixon, as well as The Hephaestus Plague by Thomas Page.
Does anyone know if they novelized It's Alive 3: Island of the Alive? Brad Jones mentioned it offhand in his review of the film, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
