Having checked a few of the likely places here for threads about Bernard Capes, as a final shot in the dark I am scrawling a few words here. I noticed his name cropping up in some of the notices about Hugh Lamb's anthologies, and I would guess he was another of Mr. Lamb's discoveries. I was just trying to figure out something to put on the kindle for lunchtime reading and I noticed that a volume of Mr. Capes' tales edited by Mr. Lamb is slated for Kindle release in October.
Any thoughts about his tales? I still feel I'm a bit too green here to ask if anyone has an idea whether what he wrote is "in my line," but perhaps somebody can drop a hint...
cheers, H.

Some comments on Hugh Lamb's earlier Capes selection, The Black Reaper. Also, a sample story: The Vanishing House
