(Thought I'd give this one it's own thread as it's a series)
Heard good things about this unaired tv series with Boris Karloff as host (& starring in 9 of the 10 episodes), so I bought the dvd set with some of my christmas money. I gave a couple of episodes a go the other night.
Vision Of Crime
Robert Hardy plays a man who has a vision of a murder (his brother) & when the police arrest Albert Ketch (Terence de Marney), he sets out to prove Ketch's innocence, but can't mention his vision for fear of being thought mad.
Karloff plays a police sergeant & Patrick Macnee plays a constable, both having fun with their roles, over-acting the British copper part.
It's not that great an episode, but Karloff & Macnee make it.
Girl On The Road
I'm not spoiling anything here, nothing that original, it's the old pick someone up, they disappear & then find out they died years earlier story. But it's nicely done here & again just Karloff makes it worth watching.
