Richard Sapir & Warren Murphy - Destroyer # 15: Murder Ward (Corgi, 1976) Blurb Ms. Kathy Hahl had dark red hair and cool brown eyes. She was assistant administrator of the hospital and chief fund raiser. She had Dan Demmet under her thumb ... step by step, he became the medical button man for Kathy Hahl's contract- killing service. The whole life-and-death idea gave her a feeling of power. Then she discovered that power is a narcotic: you start out liking it and then you need it. That was when she realised that all the government officials who used the Robley Clinic might somehow be used to help build her power and wealth. And then that scruffy old lesbian researcher on the fifth floor had made a strange discovery, and although it was still being Tested, if it held true, it could wind up giving Kathy greater power than she had ever dreamed of...Warren Murphey & Richard Sapir - The Destroyer #12: Slave Safari (Pinnacle 1973; this edition, 10th printing, 1988) Blurb A bevy of Baltimore society debs have been kidnapped, only to mysteriously reappear in the African nation of Busati doing hard labor in an exclusive, government-supported cathouse. It looks as if Busati's top banana, President General Dada "Big Daddy" Obode, has been sticking his fingers where they don't belong, and Washington is fit to be tied!
Remo Williams is no fan of the forced flesh trade. And — if he can pry his mentor, the master Sinanju assassin Chiun, away from his beloved soap operas — the Destroyer is ready to fly straight to the Heart of Darkness for a winner-take-all rumble in the jungle!a minor hallowe'en tweak. this, the War! section, has been slow to come together and we've not had a designated men's adventure section, so let's see if matters improve with a merger. it was Justin's Paperback Fanatic, and in particular, it's sister publication Men Of Violence got me interested in reading about these books even if i've not yet made a start on the few to come my way. a very entertaining interview with Warren Murphy in PF decided me that his series, co-written with Richard Sapir, was one to investigate, so November they get their turn. which, taking into account my abominable taste, do i begin with?

Remo Williams is no fan of the forced flesh trade. And — if he can pry his mentor, the master Sinanju assassin Chiun, away from his beloved soap operas — the Destroyer is ready to fly straight to the Heart of Darkness for a winner-take-all rumble in the jungle!a, so November they get their turn. which, taking into account my abominable taste, do i begin with? The earlier, short ones. Will Murray who later wrote them has his fans, but I am not one of them. The bigger the page-count, the more forced they seem to be. Mugger Blood (30) is kind of notorious - if you believe the diverse blogs - for its un-PCness, and Bay City Blast (38) is the one who makes fun of its competitors. But Slave Safari is also supposed to be a good one.
