Hi Everyone just joined up hoping to find some new writers of horror to explore. Sick to death of the vamp lit thats flying around...where are all the decent writers and why are they not stocked...Anyway enough ranting...I was brought up on James herbert and pan horror..recently found a writer called jack ketchum who is fantastic and for me Harlem Ellison is the god of horror. If anyone has any recommendations would love to hear from you

Greetings.
If you're looking to try new writers out, anthologies are the logical place to start. There are scores & scores of them described & discussed on this website. And if you're not bothered about them being brand new &/or pristine, many good ones can be picked up online for pennies; Amazon has loads where the cost of p&p is 90+% of the total price.

I'll be interviewing Jack Ketchum on the next episode of my internet radio show. Last week we did Guy N. Smith who is great fun in a pulpy way
