Just received a review copy of Reggie Oliver's Dracula novel: The Dracula Papers, Book 1: The Scholar's Tale, published by Chomu Press.
I nice looking trade paperback, with a black, white and red cover (I'll do a scan later), 471 hefty pages.
I've just read about a dozen pages and so far it's excellent. Which is pretty much what I would expect from a writer of Reggie Oliver's talent.
More later.

Thanks, Johnny. I don't need to move that great pile of books off the top of my scanner now. (Any flat surface here inevitably ends up with books piled on it.)

This will be, I'm convinced, abso-blooming-lutely brilliant Mark S. You're not wrong, Mark. Only 44 pages in but already we've had Casanova, the Wandering Jew and reminiscences about Judas and Jesus Christ as they "really" were. A class act. Makes me think of Mervyn Peake meets Bram Stoker (and a very upmarket Bram Stoker at that).

Reggie Oliver - The Dracula Papers: Book 1: The Scholar's Tale ( Chômu Press, 2011, 473 pages) A shame that Book 2 never materialized.
