I'v seen several people mentioning they enjoy apocalyptic fiction and wanted to share a link to what has to be the definitive compilation of nuclear war literature. I came across this in book form years ago and was glad to see it online. It covers the spectrum from serious to silly, short-and long-term consequences as well as doubtful accounts and near misses. www.wsu.edu/~brians/nuclear/

An odd query but does this page contain images of mushroom clouds, I have a phobia of them yet strangely the nuclear war sub-genre is one of my favourites.

Corpsie, you're safe; it's a lengthy feature by Prof. Paul Brians, Nuclear Holocausts: Atomic War in Fiction, text only and right up your street i'd have said. thanks to Jackball for putting us onto it.

You're a star Dem Yes this is exactly what I look for and could lead to some hunting in bookshops.
