Hello Watching Hammer and welcome to this wonderful place.
I see the crowning still on your site is from The Stranglers of Bombay! Lady Probert & I have just finished watching the Hammer Icons of Adventure box set, which included Devil Ship Pirates (loads of fun from Don Sharp), Pirates of Blood River (slightly less fun from John Gilling, with a theme tune from Gary Hughes that even now if I dare let myself think about it will keep me awake all night AGAIN, plus some extremely camp pirate costumes for Michael Ripper and Oliver Reed), Terror of the Tongs which was bloody excellent ludicrous fun, especially Yvonne Monlaur as the sexiest French Chinese character ever, and of course Stranglers, with poor old Guy Rolfe not doing his best (he did far better for William Castle in Sardonicus for my money).
But I'm rambling...

Nice pic A shame that this isn´t avaibale on a cheap Dvd. The horror stuff you get, but the adventure movies are guite hard to get Unfortunately much of Ms Devereux's scenes were cut by the censor, who didn't appreciate her sadistic gloating over torture victims. Some of the cut material is still in the trailer however - www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Qc92iI-SigStranglers is available fairly reasonably in a four film set from Sony called Icons of Adventure - well worth getting.

Thanks for the info. And the trailer. I never visit youtube, so I miss a lot of these. Looks pretty good.
