Star (1983)DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR KIDS ARE TONIGHT?
The streets are quiet. Dead quiet as the shadows lengthen and night falls. It's Halloween.
Blood-chilling screams pierce the air. Grinning skulls and grotesque shapes lurk in the gathering darkness. It's Halloween.
The streets are filling with small cloaked figures. They're just kids right? The doorbell rings and your flesh creeps. But it's all fun, isn't it?
No. This Halloween is different.
It's the last one.

Ah yes, I once had a copy of this - clever idea for a sequel this one!

I probably read it on here, isn't Jack Martin a pseudonym of Dennis Etchinson?

A shame they never went with the anthology series idea, but that was never going to happen once the studio smelled money in milking the same idea.
Part 3 is my favourite, never really cared that much about the whole Michael Myers thing (I like Rob Zombie's work, but his remakes were a bit of a let down as well). Not sure wether I've got the book or not, probably one of those that I'm sure I've picked up & looked at before, but end up putting back.

The Stupidios juuuust love a Franchise, but that's the publics own fault. Season of the Witch is one of my favorite horror films. JC's anthology idea was a good one, but still born thanks to Studio logic.
"Trick R Treat" is/was a perfect Halloween film.
take care. Doug
