F or those of you interested in such technicalities, proboards are in the process of upgrading all 4.5 versions (i.e., us) to version 5. We've already been done and certain new features will kick in over next 24 hours. From the excellent proboards blog
New Feature List The following changes are being made to our service:
New thread sort options (ascending or descending):
* Order by subject * Thread creator * Replies * Views * Post order
Revamped poll system with many new options:
* Ability to select multiple answers * Auto locking polls at a given time * Ability to hide results until users have voted/poll is locked * Ability to retract votes
New sub-board permissions:
* Ability to have all subboard posts appear in its parent board * The ability to hide subboards
Vastly improved speed on post and member searches:
* 1,000 member limit for top posters has been removed from large forums * Member lists can be sorted in any order * Search posts speeds increased dramatically
Listing of all users online over the entire day added.
Calendar entries displayed at the bottom of the page are now in date order.
Gradients can be automatically generated for your forums colors.
Ability to add a poll to an existing thread.
Ability to set default listing order to a board (date, subject, etc).
Ability to request a forgotten password by email address has been added.
Character limit in posts and personal messages has been in been increased from 25,000 to 60,000.
Category access can now be granted based on membergroup and/or post count related ranks.
Improved page jump, decreasing load times on large boards/threads/member lists.
Other small software fixes (eg "on Today" now displays as just "Today"). I'm still having a think on which of these to make use of but the poll and sub-boards improvements will sure come in handy!

The 30 most recent posts bit doesn't seem to be working properly though Dem - it isn't showing ALL recent posts.

The way I understand it, that will only kick in once we've made 30 new posts since the modification, or 24 hours after it took place (today, around 7. 30 a.m. GMT). After which it should be all systems go.
