It's just a shame that this isn't a novelisation of Corman's inspired film, maybe my favourite from his Poe cycle after Masque Of The Red Death for those glorious final scenes in the torture chamber and poor Babs trapped inside the iron maiden! For the record, you get The Pit And The Pendulum, The Gold Bug, Loss Of Breath, Thou Art The Man, Bon Bon, The Devil In The Belfry, The Black Cat and Facts In The Case Of M. Valdemar, but we doubt anyone bought this for the contents.
