Well, I'm in the $5 dollar box now. There's a cheap part of me that's looking forward to being sold at three for a pound. 'School:The Seventh Silence'! Read it online at www.smashwords.com

Don't know about that, Craig - picked up a paper copy of School: The Seventh Silence recently (and not from the bargain bin either before you ask). Still early days for me to attempt any sort of a review but I will say that so far I'm very impressed and it's a real shame the book's gone out of print.

Hey Craig A couple of people over at Sf Reader also using Smashwords. Discussing ways of promotong their works online a bit better. Maybe some of you guys should get together and review each other's work or link to each others work in some way? To seperate your own work from the dross that is the free to publish norm. Feel free to mention my name if you chat with them at all. forums.sfreader.com/showthread.php?t=17026Cheers: Jaq.

Thanks for the tip. I will do. At the moment I am doing the sequel - typed 20000 words of my shoddy handwritten manuscript. Don't think it will get a publisher as its a sequel and the first one has the unique status of the cult book (for cult read 'unpopular')
