Poolbeg (1990)IntroductionHand in Glove - Elizabeth Bowen I'm absolutely fascinated by this. I count myself to be an expert on Elizabeth Bowen, running 'her' MySpace as I do and have things in print in about her ... is it possible to tell me more about her 'introduction'? I don't think this is in any bibliography I've seen.

Finally made my way through that big green book of Bowen's collected short stories. Was very impressed by her style and her utter immersion in stories of a melancholic nature. I can see why you like her so much!

I can see why you like her so much! I am very gratified to hear that, Johnny. I've made a choice quote from her every story and every chapter of every novel in the EB blog here: www.myspace.com/elizabeth_bowenDid someone say on another thread here the other day: 'borderline aspergers'??
