Apologies for drifting into sf (Inspiration Dem's captain Scarlett) but I know you're out there haunting the stalls and its torture
Cap Kennedy slaughters the entire universe single-handed. Unfortunately I've only got the first two volumes and I want more universe slaughtered. About 17 times will do.
I just can't get hold of any of these pulps out here so if anyone sees them please grab them - say about £5 per book - and I'll settle up over the internet or when I hit blighty from sept 8th onwards
The NEl editions are easily identified as they have F.A.T.E on the spine
Cap Kennedy
3. Monster of Metelaze (1973) 4. Enemy within the Skull (1974) 5. Jewel of Jarhen (1974) 6. Seetee Alert! (1974) 7. The Gholan Gate (1974) 8. The Eater of Worlds (1974) 9. Earth Enslaved (1974) 10. Planet of Dread (1974) 11. Spawn of Laban (1974) 12. The Genetic Buccaneer (1974) 13. A World Aflame (1974) 14. The Ghosts of Epidoris (1975) 15. Mimics of Dephene (1975) 16. Beyond the Galactic Lens (1975) 17. The Galactiad (1983)

Will add him to the list, craig, but i'll tell you, the 70's NEL's are getting very thin on the ground in my neck of the woods. Even the later, best-selling James Herbert and Stephen King novels aren't as prevalent as they once were. But F.A.T.E. I'll look out for him.

Thanks Dem. I don't hold out much hope either. I managed to get close to a number 4 on ABE books for a mere £1-75 but I suspect later editions were just read and trashed. Here's a visual prompt although NO 2 seems fairly common It's that 'super-hero of the spaceways' that gets me every time

This is absolutely bugger-all help to you Craig, but I recall seeing some of these recently but not buying them. When I went to Manchester recently I definitely saw some of these, either at Paramount Books (think it was there actually), Shudehill Books or perhaps the stall near the Arndale.
Think your best bet will be Paramount. The bloke was very helpful - they have no website, but give him a call/drop him a line and tell him what you're after and he'll dig through his stock. They're only open Fri/Sat so maybe a letter would be best.
Prices were pretty reasonable for most things, between 1-2 pounds usually.
(I also remember he had shitloads of old Dr Who novels, if anyone's arsed)

Not as crap as you might think Bushwick. I'll be up in Manchester in about a month and Paramount is an old haunt so I can nip in. I thought it was closed last time I was there.
Perhaps we should get sponsored for saving these elements of a dying culture

There a quite a lot for sale on amazon marketplace in the UK, even for 0.1 pence. Many of these sellers do overseas, and the postage is fixed, so no bad surprises there.
Marketplace Germany also has three or four at low prices.

Thanks. Funny I always use ABE books and I didn't think to look on any of the other search engines.
