Digit (1963)Alvaro The ominous, leaden sky brooded threateningly over the earth: the sultry heat became daily more stifling. What was the cause of these oppressive clouds which came ever closer and for which the scientists could hazard no explanation? Then it came, a blinding, havoc wreaking death storm: relentless, tearing rain and the earth's surface gouged with craters, shattered beyond recognition.
A small party of survivors find themselves on an alien planet, hurled there by the cosmic force of the earth's upheaval. Can they ever escape from this bleak world with its stern silent inhabitants? Their plans are dependant on a second even more nuclear storm, and they are flung once more into a hostile universe - to safety? or total destruction?Bought this because I was taken with the 'Horror Science Fiction' tag - and it's about as horrorshow as sunflowers turning their heads in the sun. Have a few more Digits I'll upload later.

Thanks for that - haven't seen it. I'll post a few Digits too later - just off to the footy.

Here are a few more - most on the site somewhere - but good to see the Digit's in one place.

Thanks, they're terrific. I can only add a couple, which are already on the site I think. I've got a lot of Digit sf, from the Ace line, but not much in the way of horror.

Thought I had one more Digit somewhere. Actually came across a box of Digit westerns and old Arrow war books this morning and had to argue with myself for ten minutes - saying: Johnny - not your genre, don't bloody buy them. Luckily, a box of old horror comics saved the day!
