I searched the forum to see if I could find anything on this but couldn't, and I hope I'm not repeating anything that has been mentioned or discussed before. In the late 70s/early 80s there was a short (approx. 5 mins) late night spot on Capital Radio called Moment of Terror, in which a sinister, often Vincent Price-style voice would recount a terror story. I found a site that has podcasts of some of these shows in case anyone is interested. It was often quite scary and always fun: www.creationpodcasts.com/index.php?cat=terror&page=3Anyone else remember this?

Hi Tango. I don't remember these but i'm almost sure Capital re-ran the Boris Karloff presents Tales Of The Frightened stories in the late 'eighties? Thanks for providing the link.
Sorry we've not been able to identify your story, but, as Craig points out, if you can remember any small detail about the cover imagery, that gives us a fighting chance. "Some of the criminals had some type of weapon (a star?) that they threw at victims with lethal results". Would that be a kung-fu star by any chance?
Anyway, thank you for joining and i hope you enjoy your time here.
