Some very good stories in here, many of them originally written to be read on radio (though one of my favourite radio stories, "Mr. Gray's Folly", isn't in the book, sadly).
Plenty of references to MRJ, HPL, EAP (and other famous initials). The paperback edition is better value for money, as it contains 3 extra stories originally released as a separate slim "Coda".

finally got this last week and am alternating between stories from this and from SKs just after sunset. think i've lost the sense of surprise from the parker one as i have already read 'the unquiet' which touches on it.

The two novellas -- 'The Cancer Cowboy Rides' and 'The Reflecting Eye' -- are my faves.
Connolly's one of my favourite authors.
