We haven't had a chance to watch this one yet...but it shows promise. If that is, you expect it be a truly awful waste of time and money in regards to plotline and acting and any sense of 'depth'. If you enjoy B grade, low budget schlock horror I'm sure you'll want to keep an eye out for this one at the local video shop. ICE SPIDERSWhen genetically engineered mutant spiders escape from a secret government lab and begin chowing on a ski team in training, local ski instructor Dash (Patrick Muldoon) and Dr. April Summers (Vanessa Williams) put their lives on the line to stop the deadly monsters. But standing in their way is the deranged scientist who created the spiders and demands that they be captured alive. Thomas Calabro co-stars in this tongue-in-cheek creature feature. Can't wait.

The words we all want to hear 'genetically engineered mutant spiders' and 'deranged scientist' I'm assuming that the female lead will be scantily clad and/or topless at some stage also. Wouldn't be a proper B grader without some eye candy bouncing around in distress.

Well I'm afraid that Ice Spiders was a huge disappointment. No scantily clad women and laughable spiders. Patrick Muldoon, who showed some promise in Starship Troopers, must be on his way to the bottom of the sci-fi movie barrel if his part in this was any indication. Sad, very sad. All Lin and I could do was make amusing observations and urge the pathetic spiders to kill/eat more people. It was a sad day for Arachnids, that's all I can say. Thanks God we only pay $2 for any hire movie on a Weds night. (Although I'm not totally sure that it was even worth 2 bucks.) Maybe if there had been some scantily clad women in it?
