Lots more info now from the publisher's website; www.exocccidente.com/maddermysteries.htmlI've heard a lot of good things about Mr. Oliver's work. Will need to wait till my copy of "Shades of Darkness" arrives, and, of course, his story in "The Fourth Black Book of Horror" before I can find out for myself.

Looks a splendid book and I am looking forward to my copy arriving.
Reggie Oliver has been extraordinarily lucky so far with the production values of the small press publishers he has been involved with for his short stories, whether Haunted River or Ash-Tree Press. Strangely enough, only the Ash-Tree Press book has a dustjacket.

As one of those who was unable to secure a copy of this when it was quasi-affordable, I am pleased to report that the now-titled Madder Mysteries and Some Others is going to be released by Tartarus Press sometime in the future. Mr. Oliver posted his illustration to The Game of Bear on his facebook page. I have to admit I am very excited about this news!
