You'll be missed Forry.

That's sad. Remember picking up copies of Famous Monsters at Forbidden Planet in London back when I was a nipper.

forry's activities as fanzine pioneer, champion of genre, and lit agent should never be overlooked. a man without whom many would not have got a break, and a true eccentric and enthusiast.
rip.

Hey Dem, wasn't FJA a character in The Man From UNCLE No. 9 - The Vampire Affair? I believe that you have a copy. I haven't He certainly is, and he turns up in a few others when the heroes require the assistance of a monster expert, but i'm damned if i can recall what they are. Philip Jose Farmer's Blown and possibly Stuart Kaminsky's Never Cross A Vampire? Now he's gone, perhaps someone will write his ghost, or even vampire, into their story - that would be a tribute i'm sure he'd have appreciated. Never seen a copy of Famous Monsters, but i'll always be grateful to him for unleashing Vampirella to the world!

Blimey! I never suspected the back cover of Vampirella 1: Bloodstalk was that naughty.
