Robert Forward - The Owl (Pinnacle 1984, NEL 1989)Not seen any threads for this one on the board, so I thought I'd start one.Any ideas wether Robert Forward might be one of Holdstock's Pseudonyms?. I intend to tackle this one soon, so I'll post my comments when I have. In the meantime, here's the cover:

No he isn't Robert Holdstock but he is the son of noted physicist and science fiction writer Robert L. Forward. Robert Forward ( Jr) is a storyboard artist and writer in tv animation ( He-Man and the Masters of the Universe). He also wrote a follow up to THE OWL called THE OWL 2 : Scarlet Serenade.

Robert Holdstock only went under the names Robert Black and Robert Faulcon.
Under the Black name he produced 2 books - The Satanists and The Legends the Werewolf (the film of which in Rob's own words in a recent phone call - was pretty bloody awful) and of course the Night Hunter books under the Faulcon name.

As if by magic . Thanks Johnnie, are you likely to be interviewing Holdstock for your site?

Well - I've already interviewed him in regards to the Pan Horror story - but if you want me to throw some questions his way regarding other works, I'll do something around about Febuary if that's ok. Bit flat out atm.

Didn't realise you'd interviewed him already, had been checking the allthingshorror site, instead of the pan one. Trust me to get the wrong site .
