.. and for those who laughed when we said Crabs On The Rampage was a documentary .... Environmentalists and fishermen in northern Norway are warning of a Russian invasion of alien crustaceans which are threatening to ruin the local sea fauna.
They say the giant red king crab is spreading with alarming speed from Russian waters along the Norwegian coast, destroying everything in its wake. Full story: Norway fears giant crab invasion

So, we've got a load of 'king crabs on the way, too? What with those odd white slugs in Wales, some time back as well, I only hope John Halkin hasn't got things right too Any other pulp horrors come true, we should be watching out for? ;D Also, I hope this doesn't all turn Empire of the Ants & we end up with the buggers climbing up the side of the sky

Gave me the willies every time I went to put some rubbish out and found one there! Ugghhh!!

mayeb that's why this kind of fiction has died out...
we don't need it. the pulpmeisters were right, guy was a prophet, and we're all doomed. mutation in viruses is growing incrementally all the time, so why not in insects and creepy crawlies.
we're doomed...
