The lovely Ramsey Campbell has stopped by the Pantechnicon forums to answer any and all questions, and will be our author in residence for the next few weeks. Go on. You know you want to

Well done, Troo and Caroline - I was hoping he'd come around to the idea! Now all I have to do is think of one damn question ......

I was hoping he'd come around to the idea! You make it sound like we had to force him into it! He was quite willing really ... ;D Hope a few people from here will pop over and speak to him. Obviously don't desert the Vault, but the Panties crew would welcome you too! Here's a quick link to the forum for you: www.pantechnicon.net/forum/index.php

Well made up that Ramsey's taken time out to do this! If any of you have a burning question to ask the great man, now is your chance: just head over to the Pantechnicon Forum while he's still in residence.

I reckon Sean's had the best result to date, or at least, I found RC's negative comments regarding The Other Woman utterly intriguing.

Part one of a very occasional series: hunting famous authors in their natural habitat.

That photo has 'caption competition' written all over it!
*well, actually it has 'Me' and 'Ramsey Campbell' written all over it but you know what I mean ... *

Ha, Sean - and I thought I was likely to be labelled a stalker for chasing various people for autographs and interviews! I feel so much better now I know I'm not alone. Did Ramsey know you were following him at that point? And who on earth was taking the photo? In fact, who's that in front of Ramsey? Is he stalking someone too?

was the restraining order 10 or 20 feet? Ha, they work in metres these days - so I think the order is for 2 kilometres... Caroline, yep he knew I was there. The lady in front was called Adriana, and the pic was take by her husband Donald. It was taken in Chester when they came over from Canada, and we all had lunch and wandered round a selection of bookshops. The truth is always so much duller...
