The edition I've got is the NEL from 1983 and it looks a little bit like this...

It is the night of the living dead and they are coming, rising, crawling from their graves, defiling the night with their blood-lusting cries, staining the earth red.

They are growing, their powers swelling, feasting on flesh and gnawing on bone. They are drunk on the sweet taste of blood.

And now they are all about us, marching to the rhythm of death. Now they will tear down the doors, reaching out to take all that is theirs, licking blood from their lips...
