Amalgamated Brotherhood Of Spooks Steve put us on to R.J. Warren's site, The Amalgamated Brotherhood of Spooks, ages back, and it's a beauty, glad to see it's still going strong! Lesser-known classics of Victorian fiction with their original magazine illustrations including H.B. Marriott-Watson's The Devil of the Marsh, Erckmann-Chatrian's The Invisible Eye, Frank Cowper's Christmas Eve on a Haunted Hulk, and works by E. & H. Heron, John Kendrick Bangs and a neat anonymous offering about grave-robbers. This was also the site where I first heard of The Grim Thirteen. These stories have obviously been selected by somebody with a deep love of their subject! The site also sports a delightful new Amalgamated banner from the very talented Morgan.
