Due to the board upgrade, the last thirty post feature is down and may not return until the early hours of tomorrow (Friday). Thank you for your patience and please try and make do as best you can!

I thought I'd gone to the wrong board for a moment, it's looking very swish, I like the colour.

Hi Des. Proboards are aware of a few glitches but say they will right themselves once the board has bedded down. The upgrades were mandatory and, I think we'll reap the benefits of at least a few of the improved features.
Coral, much as I'd like to take credit for the 'swish' look, the gradients are turned on by default in the new version.

Strange things have happened. My log in works now without me having to sign in every time. But, stranger still, clicking the 20 last posts gets me to the same old posts. Have I missed something vital?

Is it worth reminding people that although we don't have a Most Recent page at the moment, we can still see where new posts are by looking in the right-hand column of the Vault, where new posts are shown by the emboldened Today. By the way, I think the new feature showing who's been active or how many have browsed the site in the last 24 hours is also useful. You can click those user names and then click the button in their profile to show their last posts.

That's better! It's fixed! Provided everything stays OK will delete this thread tomorrow . Thanks for being patient and cheers for helping out, Rog.

That's better! It's fixed! Thanks, Demonik. I expect they'll be solved before long, but all the previous quote ascriptions are still missing and it is difficult, if not impossible, to move from page to page on a single thread. des

If you move the mouse over a "Go to page 2", a box appears, and you can click on the 2 in the box - but I don't think that's an improvement. I like the other changes. Now let's see if quotes appear properly ascribed... above? Weirdmonger and Demonik are given in the preview.

I expect they'll be solved before long, but all the previous quote ascriptions are still missing and it is difficult, if not impossible, to move from page to page on a single thread. It looks as if Proboards are not going to do anything about the above. It is still hard to move from page to page on a single thread and most quote ascriptions are still missing. Ah welll. These are things that can be lived with with steely determination. Not so serious as the credit crunch, after all. ;D des

What browser are you using, Des? The missing quote ascriptions seem to be a permanent bug, but after last October's fun and games, it's a small price to pay for a stable board. I can't say I'm having any difficulty shifting from page to page in firefox. Anyone else struggling?

What browser are you using, Des? The IE It's just more difficult to do, not impossible. Rog described it above somewhere. Shame that all previous quotes are now unascribed. I'm not having sleepless nights about it, though.
