In or near London? Why not come to this? I think I'm doing a reading at this, it's a ghost story from the latest issue. More monster mash than market crash 29th OctoberJust a reminder that on Wednesday October 29th (between seven and nine) party in the Dissenter's Chapel at Kensal Green Cemetery to mark the latest One Eye Grey: Stories from Another London. There will be complimentary booze and entertainment including El Dread playing Horror Hits on 45 on the chapel organ and Gypsy Finta with her baffling messages from the other side. Entrance to graveyard on evening will be via the Ladbroke Grove entrance only. See the map here. Please come but do let us know in advance by email. We don't want to end up locking people in there overnight if we miscalculate the numbers. Some of the vaults are a little unstable. Dress for the weather as those dissenters didn't really go in for heating much. The wearing of masks will be encouraged. One Eye Grey is a penny dreadful for 21st century that draws on the tradition of those as well as the pulp fiction that followed. It features modern stories based on traditional London tales of the uncanny, paranormal and supernatural.

I don't have the footie gene so it's all bollocks as far as I'm concerned. The story itself is about football fans from beyond the grave more than anything.
I think the main character in the 'Arsenal Stadium' story is a Yid if that helps. And I know the author gets quite hyper and sweaty when ever his team, Everton, play.

Good luck with the launch tonight, Skitster. I'd have loved to come along to this - in my joint-second favourite London Cemetery, too - but circumstances, bloody circumstances ....
All the best with One-Eyed Grey!

Seemed to go well, could have done with a couple more people so I didn't have to drink so much of the punch. I got very drunk and felt very ill afterwards.
Then I did a ghost walk ending at the Dog & Bell in Deptford, then I went to the UnConvention. Now my liver hurts.
