There's a big difference in price between these and the Wordsworth books (£7.99 as opposed to £2.99!) though I did recently buy their edition of The Beetle, which is very nice. I like the yellow and black covers. Just a pity about the extortionate price for out of copyright books.
I see Penguin's own site lists The House on the Borderland as by Ambrose Bierce. Careless.

penguin seem to be relaunching quite a few title - 'john christophers 'the death of grass' is out april 2009 and i've been on a hunt for that for nearly a year with no luck.

bah! lost out in an auction for a 60's penguin edition of 'death of grass' last night. i was ever so close and managed to bid about 5 times in a minute but some sneaky collector beat me! arrrgggggh! bid on another but its a first edition sphere so im not holding my breath. there's one i could 'buy know' for £17 but i just can't bring myself to do it!!

my amazon purchase has arrived!
the missus' first words were: "i can't believe you payed a tnner for this..." to which i had to reply: "put it on the side and don't touch it!"
