Sounds more and more to me as if the WHC in 2010 is going to be a proper British World Horror Convention. Which is as it should be.
With James Herbert added to an ever more impressive list, I'm sure that for most Vault members it's getting to be a complete and absolute must.

I live in Brighton and I've never heard anything about this!!!!! And I was just talking to my partner about trying to organise a horror event in Brighton!!!!! How weird! I would be mad not to attend!

There's quite a few of us haunting this event. I'm looking forward to it even now

Can you just turn up on the day(s) and pay on the door? I'm not that far from Brighton (and can travel by train) so the chance to see so many people would be irresistible - even if I could only make one day. Youse lot going to be there for all three days?

Can you just turn up on the day(s) and pay on the door? Looking at the website, Franklin, I can't see anything which says you can pay for just one day - it seems to be the full weekend only. But it might be worth emailing them at info@whc2010.org to ask. I know with FantasyCon they have full weekend rates and day rates too. I'd be surprised if these WHC guys don't do something similar. My intention is to be there for the full weekend, health permitting. But I won't know for sure until much nearer the time.

Me and Mrs Horror are now attending. I'm sure she'll have a glance around then go shopping....and Franklin, I believe that the ticket is for ALL three days and there will be no day rates or anything like that.

Good one Johnnie - really looking forward to it. My brother's a good egg and we'll be found at the bar babbling brotherly nonsense in scottish accents. He deals in rare books part-time so if you send a list of musthaves I'll pass it on to him - he can usually be found buried in old book shops and charity places carrying bags full of dodgy books

For those who might be interested, the In The Gloaming crew are performign a live version of two of their plays (one on Friday, and one on Saturday) as part of Reggie Oliver's Phantom Gaslight Music Hall.
So come see that, not the other stuff...

Besides which, Reggie Oliver's Phantom gaslight Music hall sounds fantastic. David

RO's Phantom Gaslight Music Hall will also feature a turn from myself and Lady P on the Friday night. We're doing a stage version of the Peter Cushing shocker 'Corruption', playing all the parts between us. Props include a severed head, a cauliflower, and a giant guinea pig
